The updated CDEV logo is consistent with the older version but was refreshed with readability and accessibility in mind. It showcases stronger symmetry and balance between the elements, specially the maple leaf, and respects the proportions of each item.

We established Instrument Sans and Serif as primary and secondary typefaces. The precise sans serif with a hint of playfulness, when combined with the traditional serif authority creates a contemporary, approachable elegance.

The CDEV colour system was engineered in metallic blue–grey gradients—steel, glass, and structure. It conveys order, rigor, and discretion, keeping complex information calm and legible. The system prioritizes substance over ornament, signaling a disciplined, professional stance worthy of high‑stakes decision making.

To introduce pace and direction, we added a controlled burst of metallic orange. It’s a modern nod to Canada’s Flag red, drawn from the glow of forged metal, dawn light on the skyline, and the amber beacons that guide infrastructure. Used sparingly, it marks moments of action and outcome—our cue for momentum, decisions, and innovation within a stable framework.
